First published in 1686. Erroneously attributed to Sir Isaac Newton. Attributed to George Mabbut in NUC pre-1956. 'The Value of Church and College Leases considered' is by Thomas Manningham. Printed facsimile signature of the proprietor, Thos. Astley on verso of title-page, authorising this as his genuine edition. Soane also owned the 1742 edition (q.v.). ESTC t18622.
Copy Notes Inscribed in ink on title-page J. Soane with final "e" clearly added at a later date, i.e. after 1783.
Binding C18th sheep, gilt-ruled spine, paper spine-label lettered in ink 'Newton's Tables'.
