71, [1] p. ; 23.2 cm. (4°)

Lugt 10457. The printer's imprint appears on p. 71. Lots 5--10 on the second day comprised twelve 'of the original paintings taken on the spot by Messrs. Stuart and Rivett, and engraved in "Stuart's Antiquities of Athens"'. It is unclear how these relate to the twenty original gouaches by Stuart now at the RIBA (Catalogue of the Drawings Collection, vol. S, p. 125) which were apparently sold at an unknown date to 'Jer. Harman' by Elizabeth Ann Stuart, the artist's daughter.
