Volume III has imprint: London: printed for Walter Shropshire, 1776. The work was intended to be complete in two volumes, but Strutt determined to produce a continuation into "the most interesting part of our annals". Volume III includes an index to all three volumes. ESTC t75202.
Copy Notes The Soane copy is bound as three volumes in two, with the plates separated from the text.
Binding C19th diced russia, gilt-ruled and blind-tooled borders, gilt and blind-tooled spines direct-lettered in gilt, marbled edges. Bound as volumes I-II and III of a set of 11 volumes of Strutt's works.
