A Nobleman = Earl of Leicester, later 2nd Marquess of Townshend (1755--1811). With a docket-title. The lease was purchased by Peter Denys. (Survey of London, XL, 1980, pp. 137--39). There is a Soane lecture drawing (SM 18/2/3) of the façade of the house, no. 18 (later 19) Grosvenor Square, designed by Robert Adam, and Adam office drawings of designs of the interiors for the Earl of Thanet between 1764 and 1765.

Binding Later C19th marbled-paper boards, ribbed morocco-grain cloth spine gilt-lettered 'Sale Catalogues'. 37.6 cm. Later numbered '48' in a series of sale catalogue volumes.
