Joshua Smith (1732--1819) was Member for Devizes, 1788--1818.

Copy Notes Annotated throughout with the names of the purchasers (for the most part these are booksellers) and prices in ink, and the total sum achieved by the sale is recorded at the end as £4066.11.6; with indications that some articles were withdrawn. Soane's Plans of Buildings in Norfolk, Suffolk, Yorkshire, &c., London, 1788, Atlas folio is article 1636 sold for 2.15 to Harding [i.e. Joseph Harding, of Lackington, Hughes, Harding, Mavor and Jones]. Bound (3) in a collection of book sale catalogues.

Binding Recent olive green binder's cloth, gilt-lettered spine, numbered '80' in a series of sale catalogue volumes. Bound February 1925.
