Forms no. LII of Tegg's (previously Murray's) 'Family Library'. In 1834 John Murray sold the remaining unsold volumes of his Family Library, together with stereotype plates and woodcuts (but not the copyrights), to Thomas Tegg, a bookseller specialising in remaindered stock and reprints of out-of-copyright works, who continued to print new titles in the series. With a half-title and a facsimile reprint of the title-page of the 1722 edition (q.v.) preceding the title-page. Running title: Memoirs of the plague. Plates protected by tissue-guards. With a 'Table of deaths' and a List of plates.
