A translation of Dissertations sur les apparitions des anges, des démons et des esprits, et sur les revenants et vampires de Hongrie, de Bohême, de Moravie et de Silésie, published in 1746. The approbation (translated on p. xiii which is misnumbered 'xiiii') is dated December 16, 1745. The 'Dissertation Concerning Vampires, ...' and 'A Dissertation Concerning Apparitions, Occasioned By An Event, which happened at St. Maur, In the Year 1706' each have their own half-title and preface.
