Copy Notes Bought for 2 guineas on 23 December 1796. (Jnl 3, p. 164). Inscribed in pencil on front free-endpaper J.S. With a diagram showing compass points.

Binding Late C18th mottled calf, gilt roll-tooled borders, gilt-tooled spine, black morocco spine-label. Rebacked by Josiah Taylor for 6s., 6 May 1804. (Priv. Corr. XVI.E.1.7).
