First published in 1739. Printer's name from colophon on p. 112. In four parts with separate pagination but continuous register. 'Kebetos Thebaiou Pinax', 'Prodikos Peri Tou Herakleous' and 'Theophrastou Charakteres Ethikoi' each have a separate title-page with the title in Greek; the second and fourth parts additionally have a half-title leaf. The 'Tabula' (i.e. 'Pinax') is not in fact by Cebes. The final eight pages contain 'Variantes Lectiones in Editionibus Theophrasti nuper editis inventæ'. ESTC t138730.

Copy Notes Inscribed in ink on title-page: Edward Wilbraham October 31st 1775. Inscription inside front cover, obscured by Soane bookplate, probably the name Wilbraham and [Univ:] Coll. i.e. University College, Oxford. Some MS. marginalia in ink and pencil, e.g. on p. 25 of the 'Tabula' Left of at Midsummer and on p. 34 of Theophrastus Left of at Xmas. Slip of contemporary paper as book mark at p. 6 of Prodicus.

Binding C18th sheep, blind double-ruled borders with additional blind roll-tool parallel to spine, red morocco spine-label.
