Notes
The walls of the circular closet were executed to this design with alterations. Less of the plasterwork ornamentation was executed than shown here, but it is still a very richly ornamented room, and it is not immediately clear where Adam intended to display china.
The wall ornament matches the ceiling design (Adam volume 11/25), but the room was painted in the 1970s with a pink and blue colour scheme.
