[148] Design for a ceiling for a second-floor room in an unknown house, c1774; it is not known if this design was executed

Aspect

Plan of a square ceiling, with a central enclosed rosette, encircled by four miniature rosettes, a circular frame of Vitruvian scroll, anthemia, a lozenge-shaped frame with an anthemion on each corner, bows, and four drops of calyx connecting medallions, and the medallions are connected by festoons of beading

bar scale of ¾ inch to 1 foot

Cieling for the two pair Chamber in John Street Adelphi / Cornice / Cornice / Stucco Medallion and some measurements given
