Plan of a rectangular ceiling, containing an oval compartment, with a central elliptical medallion, encircled by an elliptical frame ornamented with alternating anthemia and calyx, and a band of calyx enclosed within figure-of-eight ribbons, and the whole is encircled by an oval frame of reed, ornamented with jugs alternating with rosettes enclosed within wreaths, and with an apron of swags
