Aspect
Plan of a rectangular ceiling, with a central medallion, enclosed within a circular frame of Vitruvian scroll with an apron of four anthemia, and another frame of reed and ribbon attended by a serpentine wreath, and rosettes, and flanked by fans enclosing rosettes, which are also encircled by frames of reed and ribbon, and the whole is set within an elliptical frame of guilloche, with triangular compartments in each corner containing rinceaux, and with a compartmental rectangular border ornamented with enclosed rosettes, urns, and arabesques of acanthus leaves enclosing rosettes
