Purpose
Preliminary design and finished drawing for the ceiling for the drawing room, 1769, as executed in an unknown room (2)
Notes
The drawing room would have been located at the front, on the first storey of the house.
An unspecified ceiling was executed in accordance with this design at number 6 Adam Street, and survived to be photographed by the LCC in 1906. As the photograph is not labelled it is not certain that this was one of the drawing rooms.
