Aspect
Plan of a rectangular ceiling, with a central medallion, enclosed within a circular frame ornamented with crockets, and festoons, and encircled by four vesica-shaped compartments containing oval medallions, winged griffons with rinceaux tails, and festoons, and these alternate with drops composed of anthemia, tubular flowers, enclosed rosettes, calyx, and pedestals ornamented with winged sphinxes, connected to triangular compartments in each corner, containing cameos, and festoons, and the whole is flanked by rectangular compartments, containing a repeating pattern of enclosed rosettes and calyx within a lozenge-shaped frame, and enclosed within a wreath, connected by swags to a tazza supported by arabesques
