[50] Finished drawing for the ceiling for the back drawing room, 1769; it is not known if this design was executed

Aspect

Plan of a rectangular ceiling, with a central rosette, encircled by enclosed acanthus leaves, and a circular frame, encircled by rinceaux, accompanied by an x-shaped arrangement, and set within a lozenge-shaped frame, encircled by four enclosed rosettes, and the whole is set within an oval frame of Vitruvian scroll, encircled by four corner compartments containing rinceaux and anthemia, alternating with rectangular compartments containing rosettes and calyx enclosed within lozenges, and the whole is set within a border of guilloche
