Rough plan of a rectangular ceiling, with a central rosette, encircled by rinceaux and calyx, and set within a lozenge-shaped frame, encircled by four enclosed rosettes, and the whole is set within an oval frame, encircled by four corner compartments containing rinceaux and anthemia, alternating with rectangular compartments containing rosettes enclosed within lozenges
