Aspect
Plan of a tripartite, rectangular ceiling, divided by bands of guilloche, with cameos at each corner, and with a central square compartment, containing a central medallion, encircled by a frame of Vitruvian scroll, drops of tubular flowers, calyx and anthemia, and a ring of enclosed rosettes, and the whole is set within a circular frame of guilloche, and encircled by segmental compartments enclosed within festoons, and containing rosettes and fans, and the central square compartment is flanked by rectangular compartments, containing a repeating pattern of rosettes, anthemia and calyx enclosed within lozenges, framed by acanthus leaves and rosettes, and alternating with calyx and anthemia
