Aspect
Plan of a rectangular ceiling, with a chimneybreast on one of the long sides, with a large oval compartment containing an oval medallion, enclosed within frames of laurel leaf tips, miniature rosettes, festoons, enclosed calyx, and four tablets containing urns flanked by winged griffons, connected by bell flowers, and supporting arabesques and peltoid shields, and the whole is set within an oval frame of cable moulding and Vitruvian scroll with foliage, and beyond this is a rectangular border of connected segmental enclosed rosettes (verso) rough pencil-drawn preliminary design for a ceiling
