  • 1778

Notes

The dining room chimneypiece was executed with minor alterations to Adam's design, but when the room was converted into a music room in the 1820s, the original chimneypiece was removed to the principal bedchamber where it remains in situ, and it was replaced with a chimneypiece by an unknown craftsman, J. Marshall, ornamented with the figures of Peace and Prosperity.
