[51] Record drawing for friezes for the gallery, great staircase and hall, ND, as executed
Aspect
Elevation of friezes for the gallery, staircase, and hall. The frieze for the gallery is composed of ox skulls, alternating with an enclosed rosette, connected by festoons, and with peltoid shields in between. The frieze for the staircase is composed of anthemia supported by calyx, alternating with rinceaux including calyx and anthemia. The frieze for the hall is composed of portions of fluting, alternating with roundels, one of which contains an enclosed rosette framed by four calyx, and the other roundel contains an ox skull enclosed within a fan, and accompanied by crossed swords with lion and eagle hilts
