Preliminary designs for the pavement for the gallery, 1772, unexecuted (2)
Notes
Adam’s scheme for a pavement in the gallery was not executed, and instead wooden floorboards were installed. Harris has suggested that this was in the interest of economy.
There is a half-washed Adam office duplicate of Adam volume 41/77, and a grey-washed Adam office duplicate of Adam volume 41/79 at the West Yorkshire Archive Service, Morley (WYL5013/D/1/6/24 and WYL5013/D/1/6/23).
