Notes
The Ante Room is an almost square room with scagliola Ionic columns and pilasters supporting heavy, idiosyncratic 'pediments' on all four sides of the room. In the corners are (?bronze) torchères. The ceiling is compartmentalised, ornamented with antefixes and rosettes and supported by brackets.
