Notes

The overdoor takes a very Soanean form and is particularly highly ornamented with Greek fret volutes, panel pilasters decorated with anthemia and beading, three segemental pediments, honeysuckle and a large central roundel, possibly left open (Sawyer typescript catalogue), all carved in marble.
