[4] Design for a free-standing funerary monument, 1778, unexecuted
Aspect
Elevation of a free-standing funerary monument, with a rectangular pedestal, supported by a stylobate, containing an inscription panel, and flanked by volutes. This supports a fluted sarcophagus, containing a tablet ornamented with arms, mitre, crozier and inverted torch. The sarcophagus is surmounted by a bust on a socle in front of a roundel, and it is flanked by Ionic pilasters, supporting a broken-base pediment
