Purpose
[3] Record drawing showing mouldings for the front drawing room, 1765, thought to be as executed
Aspect
Elevation of details of mouldings for bases, the architrave to the windows, and the entablature to the doors. The base is composed of a plain plinth, a base ornamented with laurel(?) leaves, stiff leaf, and beading, and the surbase is ornamented with beading, stiff leaf and dart, acanthus leaves, and fluting. The window architrave is ornamented with waterleaf and dart, beading, and eggs with an acanthus leaf in the corner. The door entablature is ornamented with waterleaf and dart, beading, and eggs with an acanthus leaf in the corner, surmounted by a frieze and cornice as Adam volume 52/22
