Notes

This full size detail drawing shows the method by which the galleries are supported by the iron columns. The column has an iron strap which is screwed into the timbers of the gallery floor. Similarly a strap at the base of the column is screwed into the floor of the House. The wood used for the floor of the gallery is deal.
