Purpose
Unfinished design for the drawing room (originally the great eating room), c1766, unexecuted (1)
Notes
The drawing room is located in the south-west corner of the house, between the dining room and the morning room. The layout of the design seen in Adam volume 50/49 was generally adhered to, but none of the ornamental particulars seen here were executed. During more recent restoration work the room has been given a trompe l'oeil frieze.
