[13] Finished drawing for a ceiling for the square second drawing room, 1771, as executed
Aspect
Plan of a square ceiling, with a central medallion, enclosed within a fan, and circular frames of cable moulding rosettes, and alternating urns and anthemia, attended by cameos enclosed within squares, and the whole is enclosed within a shaped x-shape frame, with tablets containing double calyx flanked by winged sphinxes in each corner, and outside this x-shape are festoons supporting medallions in each corner, and at the centre of each side they support an enclosed rosette within a lozenge, flanked by thyrsi(?) supporting swans
