Purpose
Design for a chimneypiece for an unknown room (possibly the back drawing room), 1771, unexecuted (1)
Notes
The intended location for this chimneypiece design is not known, but it is possible that like Adam's frieze design for Harley (Adam volume 53/27) it was for the back drawing room. None of Adam's interior decorative designs for 152 Aldersgate Street were executed. See scheme notes.
