Notes
This composition may be compared with a similar design in chalk in Adam vol.55/20. The use of mixed classical and Gothic forms can be found in several drawings in this volume, which are probably the counterparts of the 'Gothic' section in Adam volume 54, see Adam vol.54/Series 4/1-15.
