Notes
This plan probably belongs with the similar circular design in Adam vol.9/26, also executed in grey wash and pen. The classical source for the design may be the Maritime Theatre at Tivoli, Italy, or one of the antique mausolea. In addition to its relationship to the scheme in 9/26, the plan is also comparable to the circular pavilions found in Adam vol.9/43 - 44, that resemble the Baths.
