This drawing suggests an exercise whereby the plan for a pavilion, such as that found in Adam vol.9/20, has been duplicated and unified. There is another variation of this in Adam vol.55/127. In this way this drawing can be regarded as a step in a compositional exercise. The drawing technique of using pen and grey wash is also found in Adam vol.9/25 and 26.
