Notes
The saloon is located at the centre of the garden (south) front of the house, between the eating parlour and the drawing room. Adam's ceiling as executed in accordance with the drawing, and survives in situ.
Within the drawings collection of the Yale Center for British Art at New Haven there is a quarter drawn copy of Adam volume 12/101, dated 1772.
