Notes

The name parlour suggests that this room was located at the front on the ground storey. The Bacchic elements within this design suggest that the room was also used for eating, and indeed, this was the typical location for a dining room in a townhouse of this date.

None of Adam's designs for Colebrooke are known to have been completed owing to his financial difficulties. See scheme notes.
