Purpose
Record drawing for a ceiling for the back parlour, 1769 (1)
Notes
The back parlour was located at the back of the house on the ground floor, behind the dining parlour.
Adam's interior decorative schemes for the ceilings and chimneypieces at 25 Grosvenor Square are thought to have been executed, but this work must have been removed later as there was no evidence of an Adam interior prior to the demolition of the house in 1957. See scheme notes.
