Rough plan of a rectangular ceiling, with a central oval enclosed rosette, encircled within a frame ornamented with a fan, and by two layers of festoons, ornamented with enclosed rosettes, figurative tablets, lozenges, and a peltoid shield in each corner, and with a detail of a moulding to one side, and a detail of a frieze at the top, composed of rosettes enclosed within wreaths, connected by swags, and alternating with drops of calyx (verso) rough pencil drawing plan for an alternative ceiling
