[5] Preliminary design for a pier glass for the back parlour, 1770
Aspect
Elevation of a rectangular pier glass frame, alternatively ornamented with a serpentine ribbon, and calyx, or by scrolls, calyx, arabesques, and anthemia, and with projecting corners, and with a term in profile on each side, supporting a drop of calyx, and with an apron of swags flanking a mask, and surmounted by an oval medallion, flanked by rinceaux, urns, calyx, festoons and surmounted by an urn and anthemion
