Notes
The three-bay section of the villa with pedimented windows on one façade and a Venetian window or Serliana arrangement on the other façade indicates it clearly as a sixteenth-century building, possibly added onto an earlier building behind. The style of the building may be compared with the three-bay tower in Adam vol.57/104. The aqueduct arches in the distance suggest the site is possibly on the edge of Rome. The tower and circular structure in the background is of the same type as seen in Adam vol.57/93.
