Notes
The circular mausoleum shown is of the same type as the Plautii and Caecilia Metella mausolea, both of which Robert Adam drew. The longitudinal church and smaller buildings suggest some sort of convent, in the country around Rome, rather than in the Roman suburbs. The view may be another version or variation of the building in Adam vol.57/93.
