Designs for the house, c1767 (2)

Notes

King has established from observation of early photographs that Adam made alterations to the interior of The Great House at Low Leyton, including the installation of a dining room with an apsidal end, a new drawing room, and various bedrooms on the first storey. As the house was demolished, however, it is not known if Adam's executed alterations to the plan of an older Georgian house were made in accordance with these drawings.
