The structurally-complicated double tunnel shown in this drawing may be part of the brick Arco Felice complex, which included the remains of an aqueduct that ran to the Lago d'Averno. It is equally possible that this drawing depicts part of the passageway system of the underground tunnel at the Lago Fucino, see Adam vol.57/8.
