Aspect

Plan of a black and white pavement in a rectangular room, with four free-standing columns forming a rectangle, and lined with engaged columns, and with an apsidal end. Between the four free-standing columns is a band of fret, and elsewhere the pavement is ornamented with black and white lozenges

Pavement for Sion Hall for The Duke of Northumberland (in the hand of William Adam and on the folio page rather than the drawing itself)
