[36] Design for the ceiling for the drawing room, 1761-62, unexecuted
Aspect
Plan of a rectangular ceiling with a central compartment containing three octagonal panels, the central octagon containing a large flower, and the outer two containing smaller rosettes framed by festoons and fans. The ground is ornamented with arabesques, and there is a border of medallions, festoons, eagles, arabesques and masks in the corners
