[126] Record drawing for the ceiling of the state dressing room, 1761, unexecuted
Aspect
Plan of a square ceiling with apsidal ends. The central flat has a central roundel of fluting encircled by festoons, drops, a fan of rhomboid panels containing foliate ornamentation or a pedestal supporting a column, and encircled by a hand of enclosed anthemia, and bows, festoons and husks. This central flat has a border of medallions and festoons. The apse heads are ornamented with acanthus leaves, rosettes and drops, wreathes and festoons.
