[69] Finished drawing for a ceiling for the drawing room, 1760, as executed
Aspect
Plan of a rectangular coved ceiling with a tripartite central flat. The central square of the middle compartment has a flower encircled by reed and ribbon intertwined with festoons held by putti and masks, and this is flanked by rectangular panels of scrolls, anthemia, calyx and fans. The border contains oval medallions, arabesques, rosettes, anthemia, and a term in each corner
