Designs and a view for the house, 1760, executed with minor alterations (6)
Notes
In Adam volumes 41/19-21 the pink colour denotes the proposals. Moreover, the black walls show the additions proposed by Adam, and the grey walls show the fabric of the old house.
According to Bolton Adam volume 41/17 was produced by Adam on the spot.
Observation of the published plans for Compton Verney in Vitruvius Britannicus (1771) show some minor alterations in the arrangements of the rooms from Adam's plan (Adam volume 41/19), suggesting that some of the early eighteenth-century interior was preserved.
