Purpose
Design for a chimneypiece for the 2nd drawing room (now the cinnamon drawing room), 1771 (1)
Notes
Little is known of the marble chimneypiece supplied for the 2nd drawing room, executed in 1770 by Christopher Theakstone (fl.1753-1785), as the room was given a French-style chimneypiece by Thomas Atkinson (c1729-1798) in 1785.
