Purpose

[7] Finished drawing for the walls of the great hall, June 1759, unexecuted

Aspect

End wall (east wall) elevation with a deep cove, a central Corinthian pedimented, semicircular-headed, sculpture-filled niche, flanked by square-headed sculpture-filled niches. The wall is ornamented with a rectangular capriccio and panels of grotesque
