[52] Preliminary design for a garden seat, c1783
Aspect
Rough plan and elevation of a small open fronted, temple, semicircular in plan, with a fluted Doric column to either side, a frieze of ox skulls and swags, and a flat roof surmounted by an urn. There is a bench shown around the inside wall of the pavilion implying that it was intended as some sort of garden seat. There is also a roughly drawn line through the drawing showing that Adam had thought about giving this design a conical roof
